Four Onko Chishin Co., Ltd. Properties Listed in ‘1 Michelin Key’
Onko Chishin Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that four of its facilities have been listed in the “1 Michelin Key” category of the Michelin Guide, announced on Thursday, July 4, 2024. The “Michelin Key” evaluates Japan’s unique and attractive accommodation facilities with a three-key rating system. The four facilities that received the “1 Michelin Key” rating are “SETOUCHI RETREAT by Onko Chishin” “GOTO RETREAT by Onko Chishin ” “MUNI KYOTO by Onko Chishin”, and “UNZEN HANZUIRYO by Onko Chishin”.
The ‘Michelin Key’: A New Evaluation Standard for Accommodation Facilities
In April this year, Michelin began announcing Michelin Key Hotels in France, the United States, Spain, and Italy for the first time in each country. Now, the first Michelin Key Hotels in Japan have been announced, pioneering in the Asia region. Among the hotels listed in the Michelin Guide Hotel Selection in Japan as of July 1, a total of 108 hotels were evaluated: 6 hotels received 3 Michelin Keys, 17 hotels received 2 Michelin Keys, and 85 hotels received 1 Michelin Key.
