Cuvée J2 Hôtel Osaka by Onko Chishin (hereafter referred to as Cuvée J2) will celebrate its 1st anniversary on Tuesday, January 13, 2025.
As the world’s first official Champagne hotel, Cuvée J2 has collaborated with 11 prestigious Champagne maisons. Guests can immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of each maison while enjoying an extraordinary stay in a contemporary, minimalistic setting.
Located in the heart of Osaka, Cuvée J2 offers not only excellent convenience as a base for sightseeing but also a relaxing retreat from the bustling city. With spacious guest rooms over 50 square meters, a 24-hour Anytime Bath facility, and more, it has earned the title of an “urban oasis” cherished by many guests. With this milestone anniversary, the hotel aims to evolve further to deliver even more memorable experiences.
1st Anniversary “Magnum Bottle Dinner”
To commemorate this special occasion, AWA SUSHI, the hotel’s renowned dining venue, will host a limited two-night dinner event featuring Magnum Bottles handpicked by the hotel’s sommelier from the 11 collaborating maisons. Which maison’s Magnum Bottle will appear? That’s a surprise until the day of the event! This event is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, from Champagne beginners to connoisseurs.
At AWA SUSHI, traditional Edomae-style sushi rice, made by blending four types of red vinegar, is paired with seasonal fish from nearby waters and premium ingredients carefully selected from across Japan by the head chef. From the sushi to the meticulously crafted desserts, each dish ensures a special dining experience you won’t forget.

What is a Muzzle Board?
It is a special case designed to beautifully collect Champagne corks, known as “muzzles” (caps). The muzzle board includes special design muzzles from 11 renowned Champagne maisons that have collaborated with Cuvée J2.
