Celebrating the 2nd anniversary of “Goto Retreat ray by Onkochishin” with a special event on August 30, 2024 (Friday)
To commemorate the 2nd anniversary of its opening on August 30, 2024 (Friday), the small luxury hotel “Goto Retreat ray by Onkochishin” (Location: Goto City, Nagasaki, General Manager: Ken Takahagi) will host a special event, the “Goto Retreat ray 2nd anniversary festival,” created in collaboration with the local community.
“Goto Retreat ray 2nd anniversary festival” Overview
The “Goto Retreat ray 2nd anniversary festival” is a one-day event that brings together local restaurants, craft shops, and other vendors from Goto City. At the adjacent Abunze Visitor Center, there will be a workshop on making “moss terrariums” using moss from Goto. The event is open to everyone, from local residents and hotel guests to tourists visiting Goto, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the charms of Goto. There will also be a lottery with prizes including accommodation vouchers for Goto Retreat ray, as well as exclusive sales of Goto Retreat ray original shaved ice and cocktails. Enjoy Goto’s food and culture all at once in this special event. Spend a memorable summer day at Goto Retreat ray.

Goto Retreat ray Original Shaved Ice and Cocktails
We will be selling original shaved ice with a sauce inspired by Goto’s traditional “kankoro mochi” and original cocktails themed around Goto’s summer.

Sales Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Sales end when items are sold out)
*Original cocktails are available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.
*Please note that food and drinks cannot be consumed in the hotel lobby. The Abunze Visitor Center is available for eating and drinking.

- The event will be canceled in case of rain but will proceed in light rain. Check our official Instagram for updates on the event status in case of rain.
- Payments at food and merchandise booths should be made at each vendor. Both cash and QR code payments are accepted.
- The Abunze Visitor Center, adjacent to Goto Retreat ray, is available as a dining space.
