GOTO Retreat by Onko Chishin marked its 2nd anniversary on Friday, August 30, 2024. While an event was initially planned for the same day, it had to be canceled due to a typhoon. The hotel is pleased to announce a rescheduled celebration, “Re: 2nd Anniversary,” to take place on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

Background for Rescheduling

At GOTO Retreat, we work hand-in-hand with the local community to preserve the island’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty for future generations. This event aims to provide a space where hotel guests, Goto visitors, and residents can connect and deepen their relationships. By reaffirming the hotel’s role as a “small ambassador of light in the community” that respects the region’s heritage while looking to the future, we hope to honor the local people and their traditions through this event.

About “Re: 2nd Anniversary”

The event will feature vibrant performances by local Goto artists alongside booths from restaurants, craft shops, and boutiques within the city, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Goto’s unique charm. Open to locals, hotel guests, tourists, and visitors of all ages, the event welcomes everyone. Additionally, GOTO Retreat will serve a special event-exclusive menu of oden and rice balls. Don’t miss this one-day-only celebration!
