About the Spring Rich Plan
Surrounded by the sea and mountains, the Shimabara Peninsula is a region rich in natural beauty. The shape of the peninsula resembles a human stomach, which is why it is also referred to as “the stomach of 100 million people.” Enclosed by the sea on three sides, the peninsula offers exceptional seafood with unmatched size and flavor, as well as mountain delicacies that concentrate the essence of the land. Enjoy a memorable dining experience featuring fresh ingredients prepared with simple cooking methods that highlight their natural flavors.
■Abalone
The “Geo Abalone” from the Ariake Sea is named after the Earth and its geological layers. These abalones are cultivated for 3–4 years in the pristine waters of the Ariake Sea, feeding on seaweed from the same region. Rich with a robust oceanic flavor, this Shimabara delicacy is served as shabu-shabu.

Nagasaki ranks among Japan’s top producers of spiny lobster. Known for its firm texture and rich taste, this delicacy is best enjoyed as sashimi to highlight its incredible freshness.
